Following the launch of Subaru 1500, the company manufactured multiple vehicles such as the 360, which became a milestone in the Japanese automotive industry and established the brand as being the builder of small, affordable, and technologically advanced cars. Years later during the 1970s, the organization took much bolder steps by created the Leone: the first four-wheel-drive.
