Great Tires at a Competitive Price
I originally used Nexen because a new set came free on some second hand aluminum wheels I had bought for my Mazdaspeed3. Normally, I would be highly suspicious of a brand I had never heard of. I used them and they were amazing. For the past decade I have only ever used Nexen Winguard Sport 2, because why would I spend $350 per tire when I can spend $150 to $180 per tire for something as good or better. Arguably, I actually prefer them to my summer/all season Michelins.

Great buying experience with Canadawheels
Pleasant experience with first time buying tires from Canadawheels.ca, tires delivered to door within 5 days, fairly priced and free shipping. Nexen brand is not well known comparing to other Korean brands like Hankook or Kumho, but it also has been long time in the market.

Great on snow
Purchased this year, so we will see how they perform long-term. But the short-term impressions are good. Behaves really well on fresh snow and in sleet, the car is very stable, the grip is strong and braking is short. Noticeably better than brand name winter tires I had on my previous car. In dry/wet conditions it behaves like you would expect a winter tire to behave - there is a little bit of noise and the ride is not as silky smooth as on my all-season tires, but that's expected. I will report later on how the thread holds, but so far I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Great tires + affordable price
Very good tires, reasonable price. Live in Montreal so big chance they get destroyed quickly with potholes, construction sites, vandalism etcc. Happy to have a tire that is good on the road and won't break the bank if needs to be replaced. Will always order from Canadawheels.

Good Winter Tires For The Price
Unfortunately I couldn't test them back to back my Hakka 8 tires, but compared to the ContiProContact that came with my G90 Ultimate, they're really great. I've tested them on dry and wet surfaces as well as on a few inches of snow. The car has no problem taking off in the snow or cruising at low speeds at under 1000 rpm, even through several inches of snow, while also allowing for controlled power slides if I send the power to the back during a turn. Braking was also noticeably better than with all season tires, though braking hard on ice and snow is always risky so drive safe! On dry and wet surfaces I have not noticed any slipping but I have not tested these at very high speeds or in fast corners. Noise levels are also good, as I would expect with new tires, but this car is very well insulated so it's hard to say how these compare to tires with foam inside of them for example. Needless to say, these are pretty good overall in any driving condition and are a good deal for the cost at nearly half of what other sets cost. I tested 245/45/19 and 275/40/19

New set of winter tires
I purchased these tires as I have had good experience with the brand on previous vehicles. Although I have yet to use them I winter conditions i am confident they will perform as well as they have in the past

Nexen tires is a good buy.
I recently purchased the Nexen win guard sport 2. These tires are surprisingly a very smooth and comforting ride. So far they are great on wet and dry condition, I have not had a chance to drive them on snow or ice conditions. I can’t wait to test them in winter conditions. I am hoping they will perform the same. So far so good and reasonably priced.

Great value
Pretty solid tires, less that 1,000 kms on them so far. I tested them through a 60cm snowfall (Saskatchewan, Canada) on a 2016 Lexus RC350 AWD (245/40/19). The tires are not the greatest through very deep snow, as they get bound up fairly easy and the tread pattern is not super aggressive. I have driven Goodyear Ultragrip (aggressive tread and studded) and Continental WinterContact SI's prior. Both of these tires performed better in very deep snow, and handled better through deep snow. The Nexen Winguard Sport 2's can plough through corners when snow is deep (not good). Outside of deep snow, the tires perform great when wet/dry, or light snow (10cm or less). Braking, acceleration, and handling are quite good. A small increase of road noise on dry surfaces compared to all seasons (expected). Tires feel responsive on dry surfaces. Tread wear is too soon to tell, but compound feels pretty stiff. Considering the price of 4 for around $650, you cannot go wrong. Competitors are around $1200. Ordered Nov 2020, tires were manufactured May 2020 so they were pretty fresh rubber!

Great for Ontario winters
Compared to other sport winter tires, these stand up well to snowfall on an AWD vehicle (BMW 335XI). I commute from Toronto to Hamilton and I've never gotten stuck in snow and never lost traction in slushy/ icy conditions. Overall fantastic tire for the price.

They work well
Disclaimer, they’re my first winter tires but I defiantly noticed a huge difference immediately after installation. They work well and got me through several snowstorms in my Mustang.

Great snow tires, greater price
My new tires and rims look great on my Tesla model 3, and after the snowstorm this morning they ran beautifully. Great customer service from Canada Wheels, amazing company with unbeatable prices!
